Most training video production is used in one of two ways. To support conventional face-to-face training sessions or to deliver remote training via the web or local sessions at specific locations within an organisation.
Video is a great way to deliver messages that you can’t always get over in a traditional training programme. For instance you can show hidden camera videos of real-life sales situations, contributions from senior management who don’t have the time to appear at every session or processes and procedures involving equipment that isn’t readily available.
In a world where moves to reduce CO2 emissions and attempts to alleviate the effects of global warming are becoming increasingly important, video training can also help reduce your organisation’s carbon dependency. Videos delivered either over your intranet or through localised sessions cuts down on travel. This also has the added benefit of saving on other expenses like accommodation and travelling time.
